The Celtic Social Club is a powerful Franco-Irish band blending traditional yet progressive Celtic music. Expect a set that’s vibrant & high-voltage! In July 2014, before 50,000 spectators at the Vieilles Charrues festival, they gave its first concert. From that day, they forged a band with a mission to advance traditional music from Celtic cultures such as Brittany, Ireland, Scotland and the Asturias, by fusing them with rock, pop and contemporary folk.

Female fronted folk with a bite - Ophelia’s Beard is a genre fluid songwriter that combines her folk roots with an injection of modern angst and passion. By grounding her songs with the stereotypes of the genre, and sparking a modern twist within, Ophelia creates familiarity in songs you’ve never heard before. Her debut single 'Red Sea' has been said to 'embody the boundless energy the band has become so hyped for'.

"An exciting new duo intertwining kora & fiddle, crossing genres & traditions." Suntou Susso is an award winning kora player, percussionist, singer & composer from The Gambia, now based in the UK. Ross Grant is a violinist, composer and music educator who grew up in the Midlands, England. This project sees them blend music from the Griots of the Mandinka people with age old traditional manuscripts from across England.

Fly Yeti Fly are Wiltshire-based folk duo Lorna Somerville and Darren Fisher. Bringing together beautifully woven vocal harmonies, intricate guitar, mandolin and harmonica, their warm, distinctive sound blends the spirit of late-’60s folk with touches of Americana. The duo will also be joined on the Main Stage by Alex Pearson on double bass and Owena Archer on violin, bringing rich, rhythmic bass lines and soaring strings to their distinctive sound.

Traditional Irish folk, bluegrass & modern elements are blended into this trio fronted by singer-songwriter & musician Andy Connally. Andy's words offer an insight into his life experiences, passions, & vulnerabilities with a feeling of familiarity & honesty. Andy is joined by Clare 'Fluff' Smith & Adam Beresford-Browne. Expect foot-tapping, sing-along, story telling songs & tunes of love, joy, sadness, honesty & hope.

Whether it's politics, family, solidarity or heartache, Sam's folk-punk style will leave you in no doubt as to where he stands on the subject. Influenced by the likes of Billy Bragg, Damien Rice and Cat Stevens, Sam has been plying his trade all over the country on the independent festival circuit and beyond.
